SINA Gab Lagman at Hyacinth Callado naman ang bibida sa “Chasing in the Wild” na third installment adaptation ng “University Series” sa Wattpad ni Gwy Saludes at umaani ngayon ng mahigit 650 million reads.

Aminado ang dalawa na sobrang grateful sila sa opportunity na magbida sa ganito kalaking proyekto but at the same time ay kabado rin dahil baka hindi nila maibigay ang mataas na expectations na dulot ng tagumpay ng dalawang naunang books na “The Rain in Espana” at “Safe Skies, Archer.”

“Sobrang pressure sa amin ‘to kasi this is the biggest project that we’re doing. Pressure is good ‘coz it means na mahalaga ‘yung project po sa ‘min and we just want to do our best kahit ma-sustain lang namin ‘yung first and second book as long as magustuhan ng fans at ma-appreciate po ‘yung binigay namin na work,” sabi ni Gab sa presscon last Friday.

Sabi naman ni Hyacinth, talaga raw grabe ang pressure sa kanya dahil alam niyang malaki ang kanilang responsibilidad para mapanatili ang level ng naunang dalawang serye.

“Sometimes it would make me anxious but at the same time, I’m grateful for it ‘coz it shows that we care and we care about making this project good,” sey ng aktres.

Asked kung may chance ba na maging real-life couple rin sila just like their co-stars Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo, ayon sa dalawa, ayaw muna nila itong isipin sa ngayon.

“I don’t really want to think about it now, I mean, so far, we’re just really focusing sa project natin and of course, our relationship, sa foundation ng relationship din,” say ni Hyacinth.

Dagdag pa niya, “All I can say is I’m very grateful that Gab and I work as a team together and I feel very safe with him.”

For Gab naman, masaya raw siya kung anumang meron sila ni Haya ngayon.

“For me, I’m really happy with what me and Haya have ‘coz we’ve been closer for the past few months ‘coz we’ve been doing workshops, relationship works and especially the music video and I’m just happy to be there with her like seeing her grow as an actress.

“Siyempre, MarVen (Marco and Heaven) na ‘yan. Ayaw po naming mag-compare and we just wanna grow as a love team na may identity,” sey ni Gab.

Gagampanan ni Gab ang papel na Sevi, ang simple at kalog na Engineering student at basketball team captain habang si Hyacinth naman ay si Elyse, ang mayaman at spoiled na Management student at cheerleader ng isang kalabang eskwelahan.

Mapapanood ang “Chasing in the Wild” sa Viva One simula sa August 16 mula sa direksyon ni Thop Nazareno.

Kasama rin sa cast sina Heaven and Marco, Aubrey Caraan, Nicole Omillo, Jerome Ponce, Krissha Viaje, Bea Binene, Wilbert Ross, Jairus Aquino at marami pang iba.
