“Residents and communities who have noticed the railway’s massive construction have pinned their hopes on a comfortable, affordable, safe and efficient commute – a striking contrast to the deteriorating road traffic that has spilled over to north and south of Metro Manila,” ani DOTr Sec. Jaime Bautista.

“I would like to express the sincerest gratitude of the DOTr to ADB, the embassies of South Korea and Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Hyundai – DongAh joint venture as contractor and the local government of Santa Rosa for their respective collaborative efforts that enabled us to begin construction of these last three segments of the NSCR,” sabi ni Sec. Bautista.
