Maritime Cooperation Activity ng PH, Australia lumarga na

INILUNGSAD ng Pilipinas at Australia ngayong Sabado ang isang “Maritime Cooperative Activity” bilang bahagi ng strategic partnership ng dalawang bansa.

Ang naturang aktibidad ay ginanap dalawang buwan mula ng bumisita sa bansa si Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese sa Malacañang noong Setyembre.

Inanunsyo ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Maritime Cooperative Activity sa pagitan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at defense forces ng Australia sa kanyang official account sa X (dating Twitter).

“We endeavor to enhance bilateral interoperability in maritime security and domain awareness; test doctrines, existing protocols, and enhance efficiency; and foster closer cooperation between our countries’ armed forces,” ani Pangulong Marcos.

“This inaugural Maritime Cooperative Activity and those that may follow are a practical manifestation of the growing and deepening strategic defense partnership between our countries,” dagdag pa nito.

Ang maritime activity ng dalawang bansa ay nagpapatunay umano ng pagnanais ng Pilipinas at Australia na kanilang sinusuportahan ang rules-based international order, kapayapaan at kaayusan sa Indo-Pacific region.
