HINIMOK ni Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II ang mga motorista na hindi pa nakakakuha ng kanilang plastic-printed driver’s license na gamitin ang “AksyON THE SPOT 09292920865” para sa mas mabilis na pag-imprenta.

Ayon kay Assec Mendoza, ang mga hindi pa nakakakuha ng plastic-printed driver’s license ay maaaring i-scan o kunan ng litrato ang kanilang paper-printed driver’s license at ipadala ito sa Viber platform ng “AksyON THE SPOT 09292920865.”

“We will immediately print their driver’s license here in the Central Office and we will also give them the option if they want their plastic-printed driver’s license through our accredited courier service,” ani Assec Mendoza.

Batay sa pinagsamang datos ng LTO, 5% na lamang ng mga apektado ng backlog ang hindi pa nakakakuha ng kanilang plastic-printed driver’s license. Dahil dito, nanawagan si Assec Mendoza sa mga natitirang 5% na motorista na kunin na ang kanilang plastic-printed driver’s license.

Sa ilalim ng patnubay ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime J. Bautista at pamumuno ni Assec Mendoza, tuluyan nang natugunan ng LTO ang milyun-milyong backlog sa paper-printed driver’s license.

Binigyang-diin din ni Assec Mendoza na wala nang motorista ang dapat may paper-printed driver’s license dahil naresolba na ang backlog.

“We already downloaded sufficient supply of plastic cards down to the licensing offices across the country. Kaya dapat lahat ay may plastic-printed driver’s license na dahil wala na pong backlog dito,” saad ni Assec Mendoza.
