UMABOT sa 32 suspek sa krimen ang naaresto ng mga pulis at P95 million na halaga ng droga at iba pang kontrabando ang nsaamsam, ayon kay Philippine National Police (PNP) acting chief, Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

“We have made the arrests and seizures amid the order given to us by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to further intensify our nationwide anti-crime operations prior and during the observance of the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day,” sabi niya.

“Let me be clear: criminality will find no safe haven under our watch,” diin ng PNP chief.

Naganap ang pang-aaresto mula alas-10: ng gabi noong Huwebes hanggang alas-9:00 ng umaga noong Biyernes.

Kasama sa maga natimbog ang 11 suspek sa murder, rape, statutory rape at lascivious conduct charges.

Pinakabatang naaresto ang 26-anyos at pinakamatanda ang 70-anyos sa Baguio City, Tarlac, Albay, Cavite, Laguna, Surigao del Norte at Agusan del Sur.

Sa Batad, Iloilo, nakarekover ang mga pulis ng 150 grams ng shabu worth P1.02 million at isa pang 330 grams na may halagang P2.244 million sa Leganes, Iloilo mula sa dalawang tinuturong tulak

Sa Lucena City, isang tulak na suspek ang nakuhahan ng 875 grams ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P5.950 million.

Kabilang sa mga nadakip ang mga may kasong murder, qualified theft, sexual assault, multiple attempted murder at paglabag sa RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) at RA 1059 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulations Act of 2013).

Ayon kay PNP spokesperson, Brigadier Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño, nagtulong-tulong ang PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Intelligence Group, Special Action Force at mga police regional offices para mahuli ang mga suspek.

“On Tuesday, police recovered nearly P58.2 million worth of illegal drugs across the country effectively removing a significant volume of dangerous substances from communities nationwide,” sabi ni Brig. Gen. Tuaño.

“With every operation we carry out, the PNP strengthens community safety and sends a clear message that no one is above the law. The results from our recent arrests and seizures reflect the effectiveness of our coordination and the dedication of our personnel nationwide,” paliwanag ni Lt. Gen. Nartatez.
