WALA umanong basehan ang mga paratang ng televangelist na si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy na mayroong sabwatan ang gobyerno ng Estados Unidos at Pilipinas upang siya ay ipadukot o ipapatay.

Ayon kay Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez sa halip na tangkaing ilihis ang atensyon mula sa mga seryosong kaso na kinakaharap nito, ang dapat umanong gawin ni Quiboloy ay harapin ang mga alegasyon laban sa kanya.

“I have taken note of the recent statements made by Pastor Quiboloy. While I understand the gravity of the accusations he faces on the international stage, specifically from the FBI, it is important to clarify that the Philippine government and its officials, including myself and President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., operate within the bounds of our constitution and laws,” ani Romualdez.

Iginiit din ng lider ng Kamara, na mayroong mahigit 300 miyembro na patuloy na itinataguyod ng gobyerno ang pagsunod sa batas at pagtiyak ng kaligtasan at seguridad ng bawat indibidwal.

“The claims of connivance with foreign entities for illicit activities are unfounded and divert attention from the serious legal matters at hand,” saad pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

“Our focus remains on serving the Filipino people and fostering relationships that benefit our nation, devoid of any engagement in criminal activities. We encourage Pastor Quiboloy to address his legal challenges through the proper legal channels and respect the legal processes in place,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

Ayon kay Speaker Romualdez mananatili ang dedikasyon ng gobyerno na maglingkod ng tapat at hindi ito matitinag sa mga walang basehang akusasyon.

“As public servants, we are dedicated to transparency, integrity, and the welfare of our country. We remain steadfast in our duties and responsibilities to the Filipino people and will not be swayed by baseless accusations. We advise the public to remain discerning of information and trust in the processes that uphold justice and democracy in our nation,” dagdag pa nito.
