HINIKAYAT ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mga abogado sa bansa na maging agents of justice at itaguyod ang katotohanan at pagkakapantay-pantay.

Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos sa 20th National Convention of Lawyers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) sa Cebu City, sinabi nito na dapat na panatilihin ng mga abogado ang pinakamataas na professional standards, at itaguyod ang integridad at maayos na serbisyo.

“As members of the legal community, you are in the most fitting position to safeguard that Constitution—that living document that embodies our collective aspirations and that binds us together as a people,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“The law must serve all Filipinos—not just a privileged few. Justice must find its way to the margins, where it is most needed—reaching the underserved, the unseen, [and] the unheard,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Pangako ni Pangulong Marcos, suportado ng administrasyon ang mga abogado sa pamamagitan ng pagtitiyak na epektibo ang legal system at naka angkla sa rule of law.

“This Administration remains your partner in nurturing the environment where our lawyers excel—where justice is swift, where it is fair, where it is impartial, and where the rule of law remains the cornerstone of all progress,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

Tema ng convention ngayon ang “From Milestones to Horizons: Strengthening the Future of the Legal Profession.”
