IKINATUWA ng Partido Federal un ing Pilipinas (PFP) ang desisyon ng Korte Suprema na ibasura ang petisyon laban sa pag-upo ni President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Ayon kay Atty. George S. Briones, General Counsel ng PFP pinatutunayan ng desisyon na kuwalipikado si Marcos na tumakbo sa katatapos na halalan at umupo bilang Pangulo ng bansa.

“This decision vindicates the position of the party that President Marcos was under no disqualification to run for president and therefore he did not lie in his certificate of candidacy,” sabi ni Briones.

Pinuri rin ng PFP si Justice Rodil Zalameda na siyang nagsulat ng desisyon na sinang-ayunan ng 13 mahistrado ng Korte Suprema. Walang tumutol dito.

“We congratulate Mr. Justice Rodil Zalameda for coming up with a learned decision that gained the unanimous vote of all the members of the court, including the respect Senior Associate Justice Marvic Leonen who we esteem highly as a fellow alumnus of the U.P. College of Law,” dagdag pa ni Briones.

Kinukuwestyon sa petisyon ang desisyon ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na patakbuhin si Marcos.
