Pilipinas may insentibo sa Hollywood producers
MAY alok na insentibo ang pamahalaan sa Hollywood producers, ayon kay Department of Trade Industry Secretary Cristina Roque.
Target ng Pilipinas na muling maramdaman ang presensya sa Hollywood at ang tema ng inisyatibo “Expanding the Bridge.”
Dumalo sa okasyon ang mga nangungunang Hollywood producers, directors at industry executives.
Bukod kay Roque, dumalo sina Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco at First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
“We are not merely offering a location; we are offering a partnership. The Philippines is open for business, and we’re bringing substantial resources to the table.
We are here to build a new era of cinematic collaboration,” pahayag ni Roque.
Sa ilalim ng Expanding the Bridge Initiative, bibigyan ng cash rebate ng hanggang 25% sa ilalim ng Film Location Incentive Program (FLIP) at grants ng hanggang P10 million ($180,000) sa international co-productions sa pamamagitan ng International Co-Production Fund (ICOF).
Layunin ng programa na mahikayat ang mga nasa major film at television projects na mag shoot sa Pilipinas
“With these incentives, we are not just making the Philippines a cost-effective filming location—we are offering Hollywood a creative partnership,” pahayag ni Roque.
