INUTUSAN ni Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista ang Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) na ibaba ang shipping fee at presyo ng pamasahe sa mga pantalan.

Ayon kay Bautista plano nito na pagandahin ang port system ng bansa.

“All employees should also observe and maintain their integrity and transparency at all times to avoid tainting the reputation of Government service,” sabi ni Bautista.

Nangako si Bautista na susuportahan ang PPA sa mga programa na makapagpapaganda sa serbisyo nito.

“The Philippine Ports Authority will play a very important role in achieving the goal of the president for accessible, affordable, comfortable, and safe transportation. Help me achieve that desire of the President to help the riding public,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.

Bago umupo si Bautista, natapos ang PPA ang 248 seaport development projects nito sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Sa susunod na 100 araw ay matatapos umano ng PPA ang pito pang seaport project na sinimulan sa nakaraang administrasyon.
