KINIKILALA ni House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez ang kabayanihan ng mga ama at mga gumaganap sa papel ng ama at lumalaban para sa kanilang pamilya.

“Today, we celebrate the lives of the heroes of our home: the fathers and all the father figures who have tirelessly served as the No. 1 supporters, promoters and protectors of the dreams of every family and community in the world,” ayon kay Speaker Romualdez.

“Building a home, keeping it a safe space for dreams and aspirations to grow, and inspiring our families to be productive members of the community are just as important to nation-building as any other duty, responsibility or calling,” sabi pa ni Romualdez.

Sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na naiintindihan nito ang mga hamon na kinakaharap ng isang ama.

“Being a father myself, I know how challenging it is to build a home and raise good, God-fearing children. But I can also say it is one of the most rewarding roles I am fortunate enough to have, and I would never trade it for anything in the world,” sabi pa nito.

Ayon kay Romualdez ang kanyang pamilya at mga anak ay nagtutulak sa kanyang upang maging isang mas magaling na indibidwal at mambabatas upang makatulong sa bansa at mas maging maganda ang buhay ng bawat pamilya.

“Seeing my family and my children grow to be exceptional versions of themselves gives me the motivation not only to be a better father and leader of my household but to be a better person and legislator, and help make our country a better place for all families,” dagdag pa ng lider ng Kamara.
