KINILALA ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang mga nagawa ni Dr. Jose Rizal na nagsilbing pundasyon ng kalayaan ng bansa.

“As we gather today to mark Rizal Day, we pay tribute to a man whose legacy is an eternal flame in the heart of our nation,” ani Speaker Romualdez. “Dr. Jose Rizal was not merely a hero; he was a visionary whose deep insights and steadfast dedication to freedom laid the cornerstone of our national identity.”

Ayon sa lider ng Kamara na may mahigit 300 miyembro, si Rizal ay hindi lamang isang historical figure kundi nagsilbing simbolo ng pag-asa at ehemplo ng pagmamahal sa bansa.

“His bravery in opposing colonial tyranny and his profound affection for the Philippines remain as vital inspirations to us all,” wika pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

Sa panahon kung saan ang soberanya at pambansang pagkakakilanlan ay humaharap sa mga bagong hamon, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na dapat ipamuhay ng mga Pilipino ang mga mithiin ni Rizal.

“Let’s foster unity, cherish our cultural heritage, and continue to build a nation that our children can inherit with pride – a nation that fulfills the dreams and aspirations of Dr. Jose Rizal,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

“I call upon each of us to embrace Rizal’s spirit in our everyday actions. May his courage inspire us to confront our challenges with dignity and integrity. May his wisdom guide our decisions towards the betterment of our beloved country,” dagdag pa nito.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Rizal Day, hinimok ni Speaker Romualdez ang bawat isa na pahalagahan ang kanyang ipinakitang pagkamakabayan, kagitingan, at walang malinaw na pagmamahal sa mga Pilipino.

“Together, let’s create a future that respects his memory and mirrors the greatness of the Filipino spirit,” pagtatapos ng lider ng Kamara sa kanyang mensahe.
