NAGPASALAMAT si Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte sa House Appropriations committee sa agarang pag-terminate sa pagtalakay sa P2.3 bilyong budget nito para sa 2023.

“Thank you for your continued support on the programs, activities, and projects of the Office of the Vice President,” sabi ni Duterte.

Sa kanyang opening remarks ay pinuri ng chairman ng komite na si Ako Bicol party-list Elizaldy Co si Duterte na marami na umanong nagawa kahit wala pa itong 100 araw sa puwesto gaya ng pagtatayo nito ng mga satellite office kung saan maaaring humingi ng medical at burial assistance at libreng sakay.

“I speak for my colleagues when I say that this committee has full confidence in the Vice President’s performance of her duties,” sabi ni Co.

Sumunod namang nagsalita si House Minority Leader at 4Ps party-list Rep. Marcelino Libanan na nagsabi na walang miyembro ng kanilang hanay ang magtatanong.

Sa plenaryo lamang umano magtatanong ang kanyang mga kasama upang malinawan ang ilang bagay sa panukalang budget.

Sumegunda naman si Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe at sinabi na wala ring magtatanong mula sa House Majority bloc.

Nagpasalamat si Duterte sa mga miyembro ng komite.

“If there’s anything that we can do to help you as an office in your respective mandates, in your respective legislative districts and partylists, please let us know. We are open to collaboration in helping our fellow Filipinos,” sabi ng Ikalawang pangulo.
