NAALARMA ang Philippine National Police sa dalawang stabbing incidents sa Cavite noong Hunyo 16 at 19 pero itinuturing ng pulisya na isolated incidents lang ang dalawang insidente.

“These incidents which took place on June 16 and 19 involved learners from different schools and are being treated as isolated cases, pending the results of the ongoing investigation, with due regard for the rights and privacy of all minors involved,” sabi ni PNP chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

Inutos ng hepe ng PNP ang mas matinding visibility at maglunsad ng preventive patrols sa paligid ng mga school zones lalo na sa pagbubukas ng klase, recess at dismissal.

Partikular na inatasan ang Police Regional Office 4-A at Cavite Police Provincial Office, ayon sa report.

Ayon kay Gen. Nartatez, dapat makipag-coordinate sa mga school authorities at local government units ang mga paaralan para maiwasan ang mga ganoong insidente.

“The PNP reiterates that violence in educational institutions is unacceptable.

We remain committed to working with all concerned sectors to ensure safe, secure, and conducive learning environments for all learners,” sabi ni Gen. Nartatez.
