TATLUMPU’T pitong Chinese national ang inaresto ng Bureau of Immigration sa umano involved ang mga ito sa illegal retail sa Paranaque City.

Sa opisyal na ulat na ibinigay kay BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco ni Intelligence Division Chief Fortunato Manahan Jr., ang mga inaresto at dinakip sa loob ng isang post Village sa Paranaque City Marter ng hapon, June 4.

Ayon pa sa report sa mga nahuli, pito ang babae at 30 ang mga lalake at sinasabing sangkot sa illegal foo retail, groceries at restaurant sa nasabing area.

“We received credible information about foreign nationals engaging in illegal retail activities, and our team acted swiftly to address these violations,” Tansingco stated. “This operation is part of our ongoing efforts to uphold the integrity of our immigration laws and protect local businesses from unfair competition.”

Lahat ng arestadong ay ikukulong sa BI’s facility sa loob ng Camp Bagong Diwa sa Bicutan, Taguig habang isinasagawa ang resolution ng deportation cases na ısınampa sa mga inaresto.

Muling inulit ni Tansingco, “The Bureau of Immigration will not tolerate illegal work practices and will continue to take necessary actions against those who violate our laws.”
