IGINAGALANG ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) ang pagkalas ng Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations of the Philippines (COCOPEA).

Ayon kay NTF-ELCAC Undersecretary Ernesto Torres Jr., patuloy ang kanilang alok na na itaguyod ang unity, peace, security, at socioeconomic development.

Sinabi pa ni Torres na pinahahalagahan ng NTF-ELCAC ang partnership sa pribadong sektor.

“The task force values its engagement with the private education sector, especially in advancing academic freedom, countering radicalization, and fostering an environment where education remains a pillar of peace and national development,” pahayag ni Torres.

Kahit wala na ang COCOPEA, sinabi ni Torres na patuloy na paiigtingin ng NTF-ELCAC ang kampanyaa kontra sa violent extremism at terrorist-grooming partikular na ang mapaglinlang na recruitment sa mga estudyante.

“We believe that schools should be centers of learning, free from exploitation by radical and extremist elements who prey on the idealism of youth to push their destructive agendas,” pahayag ni Torres.

Sinabi pa ni Torres na patuloy pa ring makikipag-ugnayan ang NTF-ELCAC sa COCOPEA at lahat ng educational institutions para maibahagi ang kanilang vision of safe, secure, at development-oriented learning spaces sa lahat ng Filipinong estudyante.
