Boss Emong muling nagpasikat sa Gran Copa de Manila

Tulad ng inaasahan, muling nasungkit ni Boss Emong ang kampeonato sa 2023 Gran Copa de Manila Division I sa MetroTurf sa Malvar, Batangas kamakailan.
Ang Kennedy Morales owned grey seven-year-old ni Dance City out of Chica Una na bred ni Antonio “Tony” Tan Jr. ay kaagad umalagwa sa starting gate.
Binigo ni Boss Emong ang pagpupursigi ni Life Gets Better sa unang 1000m ng mile race, at Don Julio(Adios Reality-Guatemala) ni Engr. Jun Sevilla sa homestretch.
Sa katapusan, si Boss Emong nina trainerbErnesto “Boy Gare” Roxas at jockey Jefril T. Zarate ay nagtala ng three-quarter length win laban sa pumangakawang si Don Julio.
Nasa ikatlong puwesto si Jungkook (Low Profile-Liquid Oxygen) kasunod si Magtotobetsy (Zap out of Will Soon).
Sa Gran Copa de Manila Division II, naghabol si Cluster (Hakassan-Local Color), na pag-aari ni Jun Sevilla at bred ni Joseph Duhengco, laban kay pace-setter Sky Story bago naungusan si DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos’ Prime Billing ng one length
Sina Badboy MJ and Boat Buyingay pumangatlo at pumang-apat.
“This was a collaborative effort between the city government of Manila and the Philracom to make this event a very successful one. Nandito din po yung ating mga city government officials, mga department heads, mga barangay officials who came here all the way from Manila just to support the culminating event in celebration of our city’s day,” pahayag ni Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan.
