MMFF1MMFF2MMFF3MMFF4MMFF5MMFF6MMFF7MMFF8MMFF9MMFF10GMA Pictures’ “Green Bones” romped off with six awards mula sa Gabi ng Parangal ng 50th Metro Manila Film Festival held at the Theater at Solaire in Paranque City last Friday night, December 27, 2024. Lima naman ang naiuwi ng “The Kingdom” ng MQuest, APT Entertainment and M-Zet Films. Lima rin ang nakuha ng musical movie na “Isang Himala” ng Kapitol Films and Uxs, Inc. , apat sa “My Future You” ng Regal Entertainment, dalawa sa “The Breadwinner Is…” ng Star Cinema and The IdeaFirst Company at tig-isa naman ang “Espantaho” ng Quantum Films, Purple Bunny Productions and Cineko Productions at ang pelikulang “Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital” ng Reality MM Studios and Immerse Entertainment.

Sina Judy Ann Santos ng “Espantaho” at Dennis Trillo ng “Green Bones” ang tinanghal na Best Actress at Best Actor, respectively. Si Ruru Madrid naman ang Best Supporting Actor for “Green Bones” at si Kakki Teodoro ng “Isang Himala” ang nanalong Best Supporting Actress.

Nag-tie bilang Best Director sina Crisanto Aquino ng “My Future You” at Michael `Mike’ Tuviera ng”The Kingdom”.

Dalawang tropeo ang nakuha ng “The Breadwinner Is….” – Special Jury Citation for its lead actor na si Vice Ganda at “Gender Sensitivity Award”.
