Wala nang urungan at tuloy na tuloy na nga talaga ang sequel ng 2019 box-office hit film na Hello, Love, Goodbye na pinagbidahan nina Alden Richards at Kathryn Bernardo.

Sa New Movie Alert ng Star Cinema ngayong gabi, May 19, na dinaluhan ng KathDen, direktor na si Cathy Garcia-Sampana at mga scriptwriter, inanunsyo na ang titulo ng HLG sequel ay “Hello, Love Again.”

The movie will be handled by the same team ng HLG pero ang difference this time, sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay magko-collaborate ang Star Cinema at GMA Pictures in producing the said film. Present din ang mga boss from both production companies.

Sa simula ng programa ay ipinakita ang teaser ng Hello, Love Again at inanunsyo na rin ang playdate nito na Nov. 13, 2024 which means hindi ito isasali sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2024.

“Parang panaginip,” ang sabi ni Alden sa kanyang nararamdaman na finally, after five years ay tuloy na ang sequel ng HLG.

“Hindi po kami makapaniwala na finally, it’s happening. It’s happening this year and we couldn’t be more excited po on what’s about to unfold in the next couple of months,” sey pa ng aktor.

Inamin din ni Alden na talagang hinintay niya at pinangarap niya ito for the past five years.

“Hinintay ko rin siya. Kumbaga, after seeing the film over and over again, natulog ng… ’yung pangarap na ‘yun, nasa puso ko lang in the past five years. So, finally nga, ‘eto nga, dreams do come true talaga,” saad ng Asia’s Multimedia Star.

Pinatunayan naman ito ni Direk Cathy dahil matagal na raw siyang kinukulit ni Alden tungkol sa part 2 ng HLG.

Ayon naman kay Kathryn, hindi niya in-expect na magkakaroon ng sequel ang first movie nila ni Alden at sinabi lang ito sa kanya this year.

“I was surprised, too. But then, I got really excited. You know, just the usual na alam natin kung gaano kahirap na gumawa ng sequel. Kasi for me, hindi ko naman in-expect na magkakaroon ng sequel itong ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye,’” sey ng aktres.

Ang talaga ngang nakaplano this year after her last film na “A Very Good Girl” last year, ay ang “Elena.”

“But then, may mga kailangan pang paghandaan for ‘Elena’ and then, ‘yan, nangyari, and naging totoo,” aniya.

“It feels very familiar but at the same time, it’s different this time because it’s been five years. And five years is such a long time,” patuloy ni Kath.

Sey naman ni Alden, “Sng dami nang nangyari.”

Saad ulit ng aktres, “Yeah, I’ve changed, I think, we all did. Lahat tayo nagbago. And I’m just curious kung ano ‘yung mabibigay namin this time around.

“Because when we shot HLG, I was 23 and then now, I just turned 28. So, ‘yung five years na ‘yun, anong nangyari sa growth namin personally, and of course, kung ano naman ‘yung magiging growth when it comes to Ethan and Joy (karakter nila sa HLG).”

Sa huli ay sinabi ni Alden na na-miss niya sina Kath, Direk Cathy at ang buong team ng HLG.

“I couldn’t be happier today kasi this gave me another motivation, you know. ‘Yung gigising ka sa umaga na mayroon kang nilu-look forward,” ani Alden.

Nagsigawan naman at tila kinilig ang mga tao sa sinabi ng aktor.

Sabi ni Kathryn, kagabi pa siya kinakabahan at hindi niya alam kung bakit. Pero sobrang excited na siya sa pagsisimula ng shooting very soon.

“We thought we already said our goodbyes but here we are, saying our hellos,” masayang wika ni Kath.
