MAGBEBENTA ang mga piling KADIWA ng Pangulo outlets ng Rice-for-All sa halagang P43 kada kilo sa Linggo.

Ayon kay Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., ang naturang hakbang bahagi ng layunin ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na gawing abot-kaya ang presyo ng mga pagkain para sa mga Pilipino.

Magbebenta ang Rice-for-All program, na pinangungunahan ng Food Terminal, Inc., ng mga well-milled rice sa iba’t-ibang KADIWA ng Pangulo center.

Hindi tulad ng subsidized P29 program na ang layunin magbenta ng murang bigas sa mga vulnerable sectors, ang Rice-for-All available sa lahat ng konsyumer na gustong bumili ng maramihang bigas.

“The vision is to lower the price of this staple food under the Rice-for-All program to the most affordable level possible,” ani Tiu Laurel.

“Rice sold under this program will be accessible to more consumers, thanks to our planned expansion of the KADIWA network.

We expect to double our KADIWA outlets this weekend as part of a broader goal of reaching 169 stores by the end of the year,” dagdag pa ni Tiu Laurel.

Aabot sa 21 ang bagong KADIWA ng Pangulo stores ang magbubukas sa Metro Manila at Laguna sa weekend.
