NASAKOTE ng mga pulis sa Rizal noong Huwebes ang isang drug target sa Taytay at nakuha din ang P43 milyong halaga ng pinatuyong dahon ng marijuana.

Sinabi ni Rizal police director Colonel Feloteo A. Gonzalgo na nakuha sa 31-anyos na suspek ang 25 kilograms ng Kush, 23 kilos ng dried cannabis leaves at 1,600 cartridges ng liquid marijuana at 200 pieces ng vape juice na may total value na P43.860 million.

“This decisive operation exemplifies the unwavering commitment of our police force to protect every Filipino from the scourge of illegal drugs. Our men and women in uniform continue to show courage, integrity, and excellence in the face of danger.

Let this serve as a clear warning to all who persist in the illegal drug trade—there will be no refuge, no safe passage, and no escape from the law. The PNP will strike swiftly, guided by our duty to safeguard the nation and the future of our youth,” sabi ni PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez.

Kakasuhan ang natiklong suspek ng paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165, o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“This major accomplishment comes at a time when the PNP has recently launched its PNP Focused Agenda, a blueprint of transformation designed to make police service faster, fairer, and truly felt by the people,” sabi ni PNP spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Randulf T. Tuaño.

“We will not allow criminal syndicates to thrive under our watch. The message is simple: the PNP is relentless, and the law will always prevail,” the official dagdag ni Tuano.
