PINAGBIGYAN ng isang korte sa Maynila ang kahilingan ng House committee on justice na pahintulutan ang pagharap ng nakakulong na saksi na si Ramil L. Madriaga sa impeachment proceedings laban kay Vice President Sara Z. Duterte sa Abril 14.

Sa isang kautusan na may petsang Abril 7, 2026, na ipinadala sa House committee on justice, sinabi ni Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry L. Ridon na inaprubahan ni Presiding Judge Alma Crispina B. Collado-Lacorte ng Regional Trial Court Branch 21 sa Manila ang kahilingan ng panel kasunod ng liham noong Marso 31 mula sa mga pinuno ng Kamara de Representantes.

“Acting on the letter dated March 31, 2026 by Hon. Atty. Gerville ‘Jinky’ Bitrics R. Luistro, Chairperson, Committee on Justice and Hon. Faustino ‘Bojie’ G. Dy III, Speaker, of the House of Representatives, requesting the Court to allow PDL Ramil Lagonoy (sic) Madriaga to appear before the Committee on Justice… the same is GRANTED,” ayon sa court order.

Si Madriaga, na kinilala sa mga pagdinig ng Kamara bilang isang pangunahing saksi, ay nahaharap sa kasong kidnapping na kasalukuyang nakabinbin sa parehong hukuman.

“Accordingly, accused Ramil Madriaga y Lagonoy is hereby allowed to appear before the Committee on Justice located at the 2nd Floor of the People Center, House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City on April 14, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with proper jail escorts,” nakasaad sa kautusan ng hukuman.

Inatasan din ng korte ang mga awtoridad ng kulungan na magsumite ng ulat hinggil sa pagsunod dito.

“The Jail Warden of MMDJ Annex 2 is directed to make a report within five (5) days from compliance therewith,” dagdag pa nito.

Nauna nang pormal na humiling ang House panel ng pahintulot ng hukuman upang matiyak ang pagdalo ni Madriaga habang ipinagpapatuloy nito ang mga pagdinig para sa pagtukoy ng probable cause sa mga reklamo sa impeachment laban kay Duterte.

“The House Committee on Justice will resume its hearing for the determination of probable cause on the above-captioned impeachment proceeding on April 14, 2026, with Ramil Lagunoy Madriaga being one of the key personalities to be invited as resource person or witness,” pahayag ng panel sa liham nito noong Marso 31.

Ang kahilingan ay inilabas sa bisa ng awtoridad ng chairperson ng House committee on justice na si Luistro at nilagdaan ni Speaker Dy, na pinatotohanan ni House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil.

“In this regard, the House Committee on Justice respectfully requests the Honorable Court to allow PDL RAMIL LAGUNOY MADRIAGA… to appear before the Committee on Justice on April 14, 2026, 10:00 A.M., at the 2nd Floor of the People Center, House of Representatives, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City,” ayon sa liham.

Binanggit ng panel na ang kahilingan ay bahagi ng nagpapatuloy nitong proseso sa pagsusuri sa mga beripikadong reklamo sa impeachment laban sa Bise Presidente.

“Attached are the agenda and subpoena addressed to PDL Ramil L. Madriaga for your reference,” nakasaad sa liham. “We look forward to your favorable response on this matter.”
