HINULI ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang mga fixer na nag-aalok ng serbisyo sa paglalakad ng rehistro at lisensya.

“We will continue to step on the pedal, so to speak, with regard to our anti-fixing and anti-red tape activities throughout the country. I said I will deal with fixers without letup, with the help of our regional offices to help stamp them out from the LTO’s grounds. We have no room for them there,” sabi ni LTO Chief Jose Arturo Tugade.

Matapos makatanggap ng reklamo, nagsagawa ng operasyon ang LTO Region 3 sa kanilang field office sa Bocaue at Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Isang empleyado ng LTO Bulacan ang nagpanggap na kliyente at inalok umano ng tulong ng apat na fixer kapalit ang bayad.

Hinuli ng mga naka-antabay na pulis ang mga fixer.

Sa Camarines Sur ay naaresto naman ang 37-anyos lalaki na inaresto matapos na ireklamo dahil sa iligal na pag-aayos ng lisensya sa pagmamaneho.

Sa tulong pulisya ay nahuli ang suspek sa isang entrapment operation.
