MULA sa pagiging worst airport o pinakapanget na airport sa buong mundo, kumpiyansa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na magiging world class din sa mga susunod na buwan ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Sa ikatlong State of the Nation Address, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na ito ay dahil sa isasapribado na ang operasyon ng NAIA sa pamamagitan ng Piublic-Private Partnership program (PPP).

“Through this partnership, our foremost aerial gateway is now primed for a revitalization. Once considered as among the worst and most stressful airports in the world, it will soon be a world-class international airport that we can all be proud of,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“As a perfect example, the NAIA PPP will go down in our history not only as among the largest and fastest approved PPP, but one that has set the bar in terms of openness, transparency, and competitiveness of the process,” dagdag ni Pangulong Marcos..

Kapag naayos na aniya ang NAIA, aabot sa 48 flights ang kayang lumpiad kada oras at makapagbibigay serbisyo ng 62 milyong pasahero kada taon.

Ayon sa Pangulo, hindi lang naman ang NAIA ang inaayos ng administrasyon ngayon,

Mahigit 70 na airport at seaport development projects aniya sa buong bansa ang malapit nang matapos habang 350 iba pang proyekto ang matatapos sa 2028.
