MATAGUMPAY ang pagbubukas ng Philippine Inter-School Sports Association (PISSA) basketball tournament, na kung saan si Tuy, Batangas Vice Mayor Randy Afable ang nanguna sa ceremonial tossing of the ball sa laro ng Batang Tuy at Arandia College sa Tuy Municipal covered court kamakailan.

Nag-pasalamat din sina PISSA president Melchor Posadas Divina ng Mapua College at commissioner Antonio Quiza Sr. sa pagiging host ng Tuy, Batangas sa naturang basketball games.

“We’re very happy for this opportunity to bring out games to Tuy, Batangas thru Mayor Jose Jecerell C. Cerrado, vice Mayor Randy Afable and coach Florencio Lana,“ pahayag ni Divina.

Ang naturang kumpetisyon ay itinataguyod ng PISSA sa pakikipag-tulungan ng Federation of School Sports Athletic Association of the Philippines (FESSAP), sa pangunguna ni Edwin Fabro at Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP), sa pamumuno ni Dr. Robert Milton Calo. AA
