NAARESTO ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang dalawang suspek na sangkot umano sa illegal selling of firearms kung saan isa sa kanila ay konektado umano sa pamamaslang sa opisyal ng Kongreso noong June 15, 2025.

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina alyas Chris Mark, 35, at alyas Cedlyn, 26, kapwa residente ng Caloocan City.

Sa ulat ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), bandang 9:45 ng gabi nitong Martes, nagsagawa ng operasyon ang mga operatiba ng QCPD sa Northview 1, Batasan Road corner Diamond St. Quezon City na nagresulta sa pagkaaresto sa mga suspek dahil sa paglabag sa illegal possession of firearms, explosives, at falsification of identity.

Lumilitaw sa imbestigasyon na isa sa mga suspek ay konektado sa pagpatay kay Mauricio Pulhin, 61, chief ng technical staff ng House committee on ways and means sa mismong kaarawan ng anak na batang babae ng biktima sa subdivision sa Barangay Commonwealth sa lungsod.

Ayon sa pulisya si Chris Mark, ang umano’y gunman sa ambush kay Pulhin.

Nakuha mula sa mga suspek ang isang Colt MK-4 cal. 9mm pistol na kargado ng anim na bala, isang MK2 fragmentation hand grenade, at mga pekeng ID.

“This operation is a clear demonstration of our commitment to the Chief PNP’s leadership pillar of swift and responsive public service. Through solid intelligence work and determined field action, we were able to apprehend the suspects who posed a serious threat to public safety. The arrest will also put into motion the wheel of justice for the murder victim and his family,” pahayag ni NCRPO Director, P/MGEN Anthony A. Aberin.

Inihahanda na ang mga kasong isasampa laban sa mga suspek.
