Speaker Romualdez: Mga dating adik bibigyan ng bagong pagkakataon
NAIS ng Kamara de Representantes na bigyan ng bagong pagkakataon ang mga dating drug addict na maging produktibong miyembro ng lipunan.
Ito ang sinabi ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez matapos na aprubahan ng Kamara ang House Bill 7721 na nagmamando sa Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) na gumawa ng technical-vocational education and training (TVET) and livelihood programs para sa mga nagpa-rehab na drug dependent.
“Many of our citizens who have fallen victim to illegal drugs and have successfully undergone rehabilitation find it very difficult to reintegrate into society as productive citizens not only because of the stigma but also due to the lack of skills needed to land a job,” ani Speaker Romualdez.
Sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na kung tutulungan ay maaaring maging produktibong bahagi ng lipunan ang mga dating drug dependent.
“This measure aims to help them become our partners in nation-building by contributing to the betterment of our country through self-reliance, productivity and being employed in our industries,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
Ayon sa HB 7721, ang mga kompanya na kukuha ng dating adik na nagtapos sa TESDA training ay bibigyan ng tax incentive.
