IPINAG-utos ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) noong Lunes ang paglilinis ng Special Task Force (STF) nito base sa report na isa sa tauhan nito ang sangkot sa maling gawain.

Ipinag-utos din ni NBI Director Jaime Santiago na imbestigahan ang suspek ng Internal Affairs Division.

Ang hakbang ni Santiago kasunod ng STF operation noong Setyembre laban sa isang clinic sa Makati na natuklasang nag-ooperate ng walang medical license at akreditasyon.

Sa nasabing operasyon, inaresto ng mga ahente ng STF sina Nguyen Thi Thu Ha at Filipino na si Demi Nhor Abelada Robles at Mary Frances Listones Dalaguite.

“However, information belatedly reached the Office of the Director that one of the members of the team committed an abhorrent deed during the operation.

This information should have been reported promptly as it affects not only the operation’s credibility but the NBI’s reputation,” ayon sa bureau.

“In his embarrassment, the agent decided to tender his resignation from the service which was accepted by the Director,” ayon pa sa NBI.

Bukod sa pagbibitiw, naghain din ng kaukulang kaso ang NBI laban sa nasabing ahente sa Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati City.

Hindi naman binanggit ng NBI ang pangalan ng ahente at kanyang offense.
