Sa mahusay paglalaro ni Christian David, pinabagsak ng Blackwater ang Converge FiberXers, 90-78, sa mainit na aksyon sa PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Bumira si David ng team-high 16 points sa 6-of-13 shooting bukod sa five rebounds sa 22 minutes na paglalaro para kay Blackwater coach Jeff Cariaso.

Nakatuwang niya sina Rey Suerte, na may 14 points at four rebounds; RK Ilagan at Richard Escoto, na kapwa nagtala ng tig 12 points; at Troy Rosario, na nag-ambag ng 10 points, eight rebounds at four assists para sa Bossing.

Ito ang ikatlong sunod na panalo para sa Bossing.

Lumamang pa ang Blackwater ng 35 points sa third third quarter, 70-35, na may 6:50 natitira sa orasan.
Bagamat humabol ang FiberXers at nabawasan ang malaking kalamangan ng Bossing,hindi na ito makabawi pa hanggang sa huling mga bahagi ng larom

Nanguna si Alec Stockton para sa FiberXers sa kanyang 24 points mula 7-of-12 shooting.Meron din siyang eight rebounds at four assists sa 34 minutes na pagalaro kay coach Aldin Ayo.

Tumipa sina Deschon Winston ng 22 points, seven rebounds at three assists at Justine Arana ng 18 points.

“We had a gameplan on how we want to defend Justin and I meant what I said, he’s a hard cover, so we knew it was gonna be important to defend well,” pahayag ni Cariaso.

“Alec, I think, is playing the best in his career so far right now. He’s patient, he’s taking his time. I call him pesky and persistent and now that he’s developing his shot and being more consistent, he’s even more a phenomenal player,” dugtong pa ni Cariaso.

“So we had a gameplan on how we want to defend and again tonight I’m happy with the way we came out and defended those two in particular.”
