MATAPOS patutsadahan ng ex-couple na sina Bea Alonzo at Dominic Roque sa pamamagitan ng Instagram post ang di nila pinangalanang mga tao na nagkumpirma ng kanilang breakup nang wala umanong pahintulot mula sa kanila, hiningan ng pahayag ang tinaguriang King of Talk na si Boy Abunda matapos ang kanyang contract renewal sa Kapuso network noong Lunes, February 12, 2024.

Kung mnatatandaan, si Kuya Boy ang unang nagkumpirma ng hiwalayan at hindi pagkakatuloy ng kasalan nina Bea at Dominic sa kanyang programang ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.’

Maiksi pero may laman ang sagot ni Kuya Boy: “There’s a time to speak and a time to shut up.

“Right at this moment, I’m choosing to shut up — but not for long.”

Samantala, sa ngayon ay ini-enjoy muna ni Kuya Boy ang bago niyang kontrata para sa high-rating program niyang “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

Ang pagpirma niya ng kontrata noong Lunes ay dinaluhan ng GMA Network Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz, and Vice President for Business Development Department III Gigi Santiago-Lara.

Nagpasalamat si Kuya Boy sa patuloy na tiwala sa kanya ng kompanya. “It takes a village to be able to do a 20-minute talk show. I do this with a community of committed people, and I will continue to do the show in gratitude and in love.
