IPINAABOT ng liderato ng Kamara de Representantes ang isang resolusyon na nagpapa-abot ng taos puso at marubdob na pakikiramay para sa kaniyang Kamahalan – Haring Charles III, sa Royal family at sa buong mamamayan ng United Kingdom of Great Britain at Northern Ireland kaugnay sa pagpanaw ni Queen Elizabeth II.

Mismong si House Speaker Ferdinand “Martin” Gomez Romualdez ang nag-abot ng House Resolution No. 12 kay British Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils bilang kinatawan ng Royal family sa pamamagitan ng isang simpleng seremonya sa Speaker’s Office.

“People around the world remember Queen Elizabeth II with deep respect and great affection for dedicating her life serving the nation. She never failed to show the importance of lasting values in a modern world through her service and commitment,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.

Sinabi ni Romualdez na ang HR No. 12 ay inadap noong nakaraang September 12, 2022 at orihinal na House Resolution No. 346 bilang pinagsama-samang resolusyon mual sa HR. No. 347, 349 at 350 bilang pagpapahayag ng pakikiramay ng mga kongresista.

“The passing of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a cherished sovereign and beneficent ruler will be deeply felt by the Royal Family, the people throughout the United Kingdom, the realms and the Commonwealth for whom she devoted the greatest part of her life to serve, and by countless people around the world who witnessed and admired her reign as a great monarch who served her people well,” ayon kay Romualdez.
