Mula sa AKAP para kay Ma’am at Sir

BILANG bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Teacher’s Day, mahigit 4,500 guro at non-teaching personnel ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa Palo, Sta. Fe, Alangalang, San Miguel, Babatngon, Tanauan, at Tolosa sa unang distrito ng Leyte ang binigyan ng tulong pinansyal sa ilalim ng “AKAP para kay Ma’am at Sir” initiative.

Ang cash assistance ay sa ilalim ng Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) ng Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) na naging posible sa tulong nina House Speaker Martin Romualdez at Tingog Partylist, na pinamumunuan nina Cong. Yedda Marie Romualdez at Cong. Jude Acidre.

“Mahal na mahal ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang mga Pilipino, lalo na yung mga taga-Leyte. Kaya lahat ng nahihirapan sa pang-araw-araw na gastusin ay matutulungan natin dito sa AKAP ni PBBM,” ani Speaker Romualdez, lider ng Kamara de Representantes na mayroong mahigit 300 kinatawan.

Ang event ay lalo pang pinasaya ng performance ni Wacky Kiray.

Bukod sa pamimigay ng ayuda, nagpa-raffle din ng sampung tig-P10,000 at 10 laptop na regalo mula kay Speaker Romualdez at Tingog Partylist.

Si Cong. Acidre ang kumatawan kay Speaker Romualdez sa event.

Sa kanyang mensahe, sinabi ni Cong. Acidre na nananatili ang pagsusulong ni Speaker Romualdez ng mga inisyatiba upang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga guro sa pampublikong paaralan at gayundin sa mga pribadong paaralan at state universities and colleges (SUCs) bilang pagkilala sa mahalagang papel sa lipunan.

“Speaker Romualdez deeply values the sacrifices and dedication of our teachers. This program is a token of our gratitude, and it’s just the beginning. We envision a future where every teacher, whether in public or private institutions, will feel the support of the government for their pivotal role in shaping the nation’s future leaders,” sabi ni Acidre.

Dumalo sa pagtitipon ang mga opisyal ng DepEd Region 8 na sina Regional Director Evelyn Fetalvero, Assistant Regional Director Ronelo Firmo, at Schools Division Superintendent Mariza Magan. Sila ay nagpasalamat kay Speaker Romualdez at Tingog sa tulong sa mga guro.

Sabi ng isa sa mga guro, “This program is not just a financial blessing; it’s a reminder that our efforts as educators are valued. Speaker Romualdez and the Tingog Partylist have truly touched our hearts today.”

Sinabi naman ni Rep. Yedda Romualdez na ang “AKAP para kay Ma’am at Sir” initiative is more than just a financial assistance program; it is a sincere tribute to the heart and soul of the education system – our educators.”
