Operasyon ng LRT-1 Cavite extension magsisimula sa 2024
KUMPIYANSA ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) na magiging operational na ang Light Rail Transit Line 1 Cavite Extension sa Setyembre 2024.
Ayon kay Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista on track ang paggawa sa bagong linya batay sa kanilang isinagawang inspeksyon sa Dr. Santos at Ninoy Aquino Stations ngayong Lunes (Nobyembre 14).
“So far, we are on track. This is the reason why we are here—to make arrangements with the LRMC and their contractors so that this line will be operational as scheduled,” sabi ni Bautista. “We are expecting that this line will be operational by September of 2024. I’m impressed with the status of the project.”
Ang 11.7 kilometrong extension ay mayroong walong istasyon. Idurugtong ito sa LRT-1 Baclaran station sa Parañaque City at tatakbo hanggang Bacoor, Cavite. Ang biyahe ay tatagal ng 25 minuto lamang.
