PINURI ng minority bloc ng Kamara de Representantes ang paghalal ng mayorya kay Pampanga Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr. bilang bagong Senior Deputy Speaker.

Ayon sa minorya magiging malaking asset si Gonzales sa liderato ng Kamara.

“He will be able to work closely with the minority bloc in overseeing the passage of legislative reforms that are needed to sustain the country’s economic recovery and improve the quality of life of every Filipino family,” sabi ng pahayag na inilabas ni Minority Leader Marcelino “Nonoy” Libanan.

Suportado rin umano ng minorya ang liderato ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez na mahusay na pinamumunuan ang Kamara at mayroong magandang accomplishment sa loob ng wala pang isang taon sa puwesto.

“The minority is absolutely committed to our partnership with Speaker Romualdez and the entire House leadership, as we seek common ground to swiftly create more jobs and livelihood opportunities, lift a greater number of households from poverty, and move the country forward,” dagdag pa ng pahayag.
