Ayon kay Department of Energy Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMG) Assistant Director Rodela Romero, ilan lang sa mga dahilan ng bawas presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo ang maliit na demand sa langis ng China at Estados Unidos at ang napipintong pagdaragdag ng produksyon ng Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
