INILARGA ng SMC Infrastructure ang seamless southern tollways project nito upang mabawasan ang paghinto sa mga toll stop ng SLEX, STAR, at Skyway.

Ayon sa SMC Infrastructure ang mga motorista na bumibiyahe sa Southern Luzon ay kailangang huminto sa South Luzon Expressway’s (SLEX) Calamba toll plaza, SLEX-Greenfield toll plaza, at Sto. Tomas exit sa Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR).

Upang mas mapabilis ang pagbiyahe at maiwasan ang pag-ipon ng mga sasakyan, dalawa na lamang ang kailangang hintuan kung gagamit ng STAR, SLEX at Skyway.

Sa kasalukuyan ay limang hinto sa toll gates ang ginagawa ng mga mtorsita na patungong Batangas—pagpasok sa Del Monte Skyway 3 toll plaza, sa Calamba, sa SLEX Greenfield, sa Sto. Tomas toll plazas, at sa kanilang exit point.

Sa bagong sistema dalawang hinto na lamang—sa kanilang entry point at sa kanilang exit point.

Sa 2023 ay isasama na rin sa seamless program ang NAIA Expressway.

Pinuri naman ni Department of Transportation (DoTR) Secretary Jaime “Jimmy” Bautista ang programa ng SMC.

“Beyond the holidays, this initiative will make the transportation of people and goods to and from Southern Luzon provinces much faster and more efficient, with no impact or change in toll rates. I commend SMC for continuously looking for ways to minimize traffic and improve people’s travel experience along its expressways, and for investing in sensible and more sustainable solutions to traffic such as this,” sabi ni Bautista.
