NAHARANG ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark ang P5.7 milyong halaga ng shabu na itinago sa kahon ng botones.

Dumating umano ang package noong Pebrero 14 mula sa Harare, Zimbabwe.

Sumailalim umano ang package sa K9 sniffing at x-ray scanning procedure bago pisikal na sinuri.

Itinago umano sa gilid ng kahon ang 838.6825 gram ng shabu.

Sa patnubay na ibinigay ni Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, lalo pang pina-igting ng Pork of Clark ang pagbabantay laban sa pagpasok ng mga ipinagbabawal na gamot alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“With the enhanced measures that we are currently implementing, we will not let these illegal drugs enter our borders and reach the public,” sabi ni Commissioner Rubio.

“The Bureau of Customs continues its commitment in curbing illegal drug smuggling, and we aim to prevent all attempts of illicit importations,” dagdag pa ng BOC chief.
