KINUMPIRMA ni Goddes Hope Libiran ang kanyang pagbibitiw bilang Assistant Secretary for Communication and Commuter Affairs ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

“I am leaving not because I will join any campaign, or because I no longer love my job. I am leaving because I have decided to once and for all, prioritize my family, and become a MOTHER to my only child, who was barely a year old when I joined DOTr,” sabi ni Libiran sa isang pahayag.

Noong Enero ay nahawa ng COVID-19 ang kanyang buong pamilya at sa kaparehong buwan ay ninakawan siya ng kanyang katulong.

“These things happening all in a month’s time were just way too much, even for someone as resilient and as resolute as I would like to be,” dagdag pa ni Libiran.

Inihain umano niya ang kayang resignation letter noong Pebrero 4 at magiging epektibo ito sa Pebrero 28.

“It was an absolutely bittersweet decision to leave now, given that we are at the homestretch of a legacy of accomplishments in one of the most productive executive departments of the Duterte Administration,” sabi pa nito.

Nagpasalamat si Libiran kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, Transportation Sec. Art Tugade at sa DOTr family na nagtiwala at lalong pinahusay ang kanyang kakayanan.
