Speaker Romualdez, Tingog itinulak agarang pagbibigay ng P20M ayuda sa nasunugan sa Tondo
ALINSUNOD sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., itinulak ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez at ng Tingog Partylist ang agarang pagpapalabas ng P20 milyong halaga ng cash assistance para sa may 2,000 pamilyang nasunugan sa Barangay 105 Aroma sa Tondo, Manila noong Sabado.
Ang tig-P10,000 tulong sa bawat pamilyang nasunugan ay kukunin sa Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“We facilitated the immediate release of P20 million for the families affected by the Tondo fire, following President Marcos’ directive. This financial aid through the help of DSWD Sec. Rex Gatchalian, along with our ongoing relief efforts, will provide these families with the resources they need to rebuild their lives,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.
Bukod sa cash assistance, nakipagtulungan din ang tanggapan ni Speaker Romualdez sa Tingog Partylist na pinangungunahan nina Reps. Yedda K. Romualdez at Jude Acidre para sa pamimigay ng mainit na pagkain sa mga biktima noong Linggo.
Ngayong Lunes ay babalik sila para mamigay ng mga relief goods.
“We have also mobilized our personal calamity funds to ensure that these families not only receive financial support but also have access to food and other essential items,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.
Ayon kay House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias “Ponyong” P. Gabonada Jr., sa pakikipagtulungan sa tanggapan ni Manila 1st District Rep. Ernesto ‘Ernix’ Dionisio Jr. ay nakapamigay ng 4,500 bowl ng lugaw at arroz caldo sa Vicente Lim evacuation center, Barangay 105 at Barangay 106 covered courts.
Nagpasalamat naman si Dionisio kina Pangulong Marcos, Speaker Romualdez at DSWD Secretary Gatchalian sa mabilis na pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga nasunugan.
“On behalf of the people of Tondo, I sincerely thank President Marcos, Speaker Romualdez, and Secretary Gatchalian for their unwavering support and quick action in addressing the needs of our fire-affected residents. Their leadership and compassion have been vital in helping the community recover from this tragic incident,” ani Dionisio.
