Speaker Romualdez: Mas makakabuti kung VP Sara dumalo sa budget hearing
DUMISTANSIYA si House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa panawagan ng isang kongresista na magbitiw na sa puwesto si Vice President Sara Duterte.
Pinagbibitiw ni House Assistant Majority Leader at Ako Bicol aprty-list Representative Raul Angelo Bongalon si Duterte nang hindi sumipot sa pagdinig ng Kamara sa budget ng Office of the Vice President at sa halip ay nagtungo sa Calaguas Island.
Ayon kay Romualdez, iginagalang niya ang opinion ni Bongalon.
“Well lahat ng mga congressman may mga ano, may mga ideas meron silang mga opinion, but before tonight ends we will come to a resolution and that will be acted by the plenary,” pahayag ni Romualdez.
“So instead of listening to individual opinions and comments, as you know in Congress we act in a consensus, as a consensus body, as a collegiate body, rather. And we will deal with that as soon as you allow us to leave this ano, this press con so we can return back to our normal programming,” dagdag ni Romualdez.
Ayon kay Romualdez, mas makabubuti kung sisipot si Duterte sa pagdinig sa panukalang pondo ng kanyang tanggapan.
Ilang kongresista ang nadismaya sa hindi pagsipot ni Duterte sa Kamara.
