IDINEKLARA ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day ang Oktubre 15 kada taon.

Nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ang Proclamation No. 700 noong Oktubre 2.

Nire-repeal ng proklamasyon ang Proclamation No. 586 na nagdedeklara ng Marso 25 kada taon bilang “Day of the Unborn.”

“The new proclamation aims to honor and remember the infants lost during or shortly after pregnancy, and acknowledge the mothers and their families who have suffered through these losses,” saad ng proklamasyon.

“There is a need to designate a specific day to increase awareness and provide comprehensive support for affected families, including mental health services, community programs, and informed healthcare guidance,” dagdag ng proklamasyon.

Inaatasan ang Department of Health (DOH) na pangunahan, makipag-coordinate at mag-supervise sa mga programa, aktibidad at mga proyekto na may kaugnayan sa okasyon.

Inaatasan ang iba pang government agencies at mga tanggapan maging ang government-owned or -controlled corporations at state universities at colleges na suportahan ang programa.

Hinihikayat din ang mga local government units, non-government organizations, professional associations, at private sector na suportahan ang programa.
