MAS abot-kamay na nina presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte ang panalo matapos silang suportahan ng Nacionalista Party (NP), isa sa pinakamalaking political party sa bansa.

Sinabi ni House Majority Leader at Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) President Martin Romualdez na malaking puntos para kina Marcos at Duterte ang suporta ng NP na pinamumunuan ni dating Senate President Manny Villar.

“The support of one of the country’s biggest and oldest political parties will certainly make a difference as we work hard to consolidate forces and support to the UniTeam tandem in this crucial period of the campaign,” sabi ni Romualdez.

Ayon sa NP suportado nito ang panawagan ng Marcos-Duterte tandem na magkaisa para sa mabilis na pagbangon ng bansa.

“The endorsement of the Villar-led party inches Marcos and Duterte further closer towards the post that they are seeking,” dagdag pa ni Romualdez.

Nauna rito, inendorso ng PDP-Laban Cusi wing, at National Unity Party (NUP) sina Marcos at Duterte.

Si Marcos ay standard bearer ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) samantalang si Duterte naman ang chairperson ng Lakas-CMD at Hugpong Ng Pagbabago (HNP).
