Ni-reveal ni Troy Montero ang kundisyon ng nag-iisang anak nilang babae ni Aubrey Miles na si Rocket Miller, six years old.

Sa Instagram, inamin niyang Rocket was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when she was three years old. Ibinahagi rin niya ang behavior ng kanyang anak.

“This little girl, my one and only daughter was born on December 14, 2018. She is an absolute sweetheart and a Daddy’s girl. She loves singing, doing puzzles, coloring books, and riding her scooter.

“When she was younger, she was non-verbal, made no eye contact, flapped her hands, walked on her tiptoes, lined up her toys, and occasionally had tantrums on the floor. At three years old, she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. A month later, we started her in Speech and Occupational Therapy,” pagbabahagi ni Troy.

Proud na ikinuwento ng aktor ang improvement sa anak matapos ang first session nito. Mas nagsasalita na raw ito ngayon at may eye contact na.

“She has since undergone Stem Cell Therapy at EW Villa Medica in Pasay, Philippines, with her third treatment just last week. After her first session, we noticed a big change she began making eye contact and speaking more,” aniya.

Laking tuwa rin niya nang marinig si Rocket na nagsabi ng “I love you.”

“Today, I wouldn’t consider her non-verbal, though her casual conversations are mostly two to three-word sentences. The best sound? Hearing her say, ‘I love you,” kwento ng aktor.

“Another beautiful change is her growing self-awareness. She now expresses emotions more clearly, has a sense of humor, and even a mischievous side. She looks at her reflection in the mirror, something she never did before,” patuloy niya.

“Rocket is now six years old and attends school with five to six classmates at Little Sparks Therapy Center in Quezon City. Her teacher recently shared that she has become a class leader, helping her classmates with their activities.

“She always reminds us to wear our seatbelts in the car, loves going to school, and enjoys watching Peppa Pig. Her favorite snacks are grapes, bananas, and apples but if given the chance, she’d trade them all for cookies! As the youngest in our family of five, she is undoubtedly the star of our home. We love her endlessly and will always be here to support her,” pagmamalaki pa ni Troy sa bunsong anak.
