“Sobrang sobrang laking honor as a sole wakeboarder that will represent the country and add to that, I have the honor of actually being one of the flagbearers carrying the flag into the World Games,” pahayag ni Trinidad sa photo-shoot ng Team Pilipinas nitong Huwebes (July 31) sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium,
“I promise to do my very best. My training has been spot on day in and day out making sure that my riding is at its peak or maybe better,” dagdag pa ni Trinidad.
“I felt very surprised and grateful for this opportunity, especially because my sport, wushu, is not a famous sport. Just for them to recognize me means na nag-iimprint na ang sport ko sa PSC at POC. It is also a chance for our
Filipinos to see na like they ask kung ano ang sport niya and I’m really happy that I came from wushu,” dagdag ni Wong.
“I think I’m just really excited for that competition and I’m looking forward to this… yung training, hindi siya nagbabago pero medyo heavy na siya but just because medyo nag-adjust ng program ang coach namin but all in all, i’m just training consistently,” pahayag ni Wong.
“For me, 200 percent im more than ready. Past two months [of preparations] has been amazing and I am feeling better than before and I just can’t wait to go to China and represent the country,” huling sambit ni Trinidad.
