TINIYAK ni Philippine National Police (PNP) acting chief Lieutenant General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. na walang ibang layunin ang mga inisyu niyang directives kundi maging ligtas ang bansa 24/7.

Sinabi niya na ito ang sentro ng kanyang directives: management of resources, covering manpower at mas malakas na logistics at finances.

“Every organization, whether big or small, begins with the proper management of resources. In the PNP, this means maximizing our personnel, equipment, and finances to accomplish our operational plans and implement meaningful programs,” sabi ng hepe ng PNP.

Ayon kay Lt. Gen. Nartatez, sa ilalim ng manpower kailangan ng mahigpit na basis sa recruitment, placement, training, continuous development, retirement at personnel welfare.

Sentro din ng utos niya ang effective police operations sa tulong ng Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) program.

“Through EMPO, we are able to deny the occurrence of focus crimes, investigate incidents effectively, identify personalities involved, and ensure that offenders are charged, convicted, and made accountable,” sabi niya.
