GAGAMITIN ang artificial intelligence (AIS) ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) para sa mas detalyadong weather forecast araw-araw.

Ayon kay Assistant Secretary Napoleon Juanillo isang memorandum of understanding ang nilagdaan ng DOST at Atmo, isang US-based company para sa AI-guided weather forecasting.

Sinabi ni Juanillo na makatutulong ang mas detalyado at accurate na forecast sa mga magsasaka at mangingisda.

Ang Atmo ay nakikipag-ugnayan na umano sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) para sa programang ito.
