Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez receives the report of the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2) from EDCOM 2 Co-Chairperson Roman Romulo, EDCOM 2 Co-Chair Rep. Mark Go, EDCOM 2 Executive Director Karl Mark Yee and other officials during simple rites held Monday afternoon at the Social Hall of the Speaker’s Office in the House of Representatives. The report contains the findings and recommendations of EDCOM 2 during its first year of operation. EDCOM 2 is the Congressional body created through RA11899, and is tasked to undertake a comprehensive national assessment and evaluation of the performance of the Philippine education sector.
