BINUWAG ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) and the Office of the Cabinet Secretary.

Ipinalabas ni Marcos ang Executive Order No. 1 upang mas maging simple umano ang internal management at pamumuno ng Office of the President kasabay ng pagsinop sa pondo ng gobyerno.

“In order to achieve simplicity, economy, and efficiency in the bureaucracy without effecting disruptions in internal management and general governance, the Administration shall streamline official processes and procedures by reorganizing the Office of the President proper and the various attached agencies and offices, and by abolishing duplicated and overlapping official functions,” sabi sa EO No 1.

Ang trabaho ng PACC ay ililipat sa Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.

Ang mga tauhan naman ng Office of the Cabinet Secretary ay ililipat sa Presidential Management Staff.

Nauna ng ipinag-utos ni Marcos sa mga miyembro ng Gabinete na tapyasin ang proseso sa kani-kanilang tanggapan.
