Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang pagpapalit ng pangalan at reorganisasyon ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

Ang PCOO ay ginawang Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 2. Ito ay pinamumunuan ni Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.

Ang OPS ay otorisado na kumuha ng assistant secretary na mayroong hanggang 20 tauhan na itatalaga ni Cruz-Angeles at aaprubahan ni Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez.

Ang OPS ay magkakaroon ng walong undersecretary na magkakaroon ng kanya-kanyang assistant secretary at support staff.

Ang mga attached agency ng PCOO gaya ng APO Production Unit, Bureau of Broadcast Services, Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, National Printing Office, News and Information Bureau at People’s Television Network ay isasailalim na sa OPS.

Ang Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) ay ililipat naman sa ilalim ng Presidential Management Staff (PMS), samantalang ililipat naman sa ilalim ng Philippine Information Agency (PIA) ang Bureau of Communications Services, Freedom of Information-Program Management Office at Good Governance Office.

Ang PIA ay pamumunuan pa rin ng isang Director-General na may ranggong undersecretary at magkakaroon ng apat na Deputy Directors-General na ang ranggo ay Assistant Secretary at apat na Assistant Directors-General na katumbas ng Director IV.

Sa ilalim ng EO No. 2 ay maaabolis na ang Office of the Presidential Spokesperson at ang trabaho, kagamitan at mga permanenteng empleyado nito ay mapupunta sa OPS.
