NAGPAHAYAG ng pagkadismaya ang isang lider ng Kamara de Representantes mula sa Mindanao kay Vice President Sara Duterte kaugnay ng inilabas nitong pahayag para sa mga Muslim na ang tinutumbok na direksyon ay pagwatak-watakin ang bansa.

Ayon kay House Assistant Majority Leader at Lanao del Sur 1st District Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong bilang ikalawang pinakamataas na lider ng bansa dapat ay mag-ambag si VP Duterte para sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

“The Vice President Duterte should roll up her sleeves and join us in working towards a better future for all Filipinos regardless where areas they’re from or which religious group they belong to,” ani Adiong, isa sa mga lider ng Young Guns.

Nanawagan si Adiong sa lahat ng opisyal ng gobyerno, kasama na si VP Duterte na pagtuonan ng pansin ang mga responsibilidad nito.

“It is time to transcend from the usual line of frustrations we normally hear from politicians, especially when elections are just right around the corner and instead use them as a positive force to overturn and overcome these challenges for a more concrete and progressive results,” saad pa ni Adiong.

Sa kanyang mensahe sa mga Muslim, tinuligsa ni VP Duterte ang administrasyong Marcos sa mga ginagawa nito kaugnay ng disaster preparedness, pangkalusugan at pagpapatupad ng batas.

“The Vice President’s statements have a tendency to politicize religious affiliations. We muslims do not deserve that, we are part of this grand march towards progress and not some separate pitiable entity,” wika pa ni Adiong.

“This kind of rhetoric only sows division and distracts from the real work that needs to be done,” dagdag pa nito.

Ipinagtanggol ni Adiong si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na tanggap umano ang kakulangan ng gobyerno at tinutugunan nito.

“Challenges confronting our nations are real and President Bongbong Marcos acknowledges that, that is why walang ginawa ang Presidente kundi magtrabaho nang maibsan ang mga suliranin na ito. It’s unfair on the part of the President to be described that way.” wika pa ni Adiong.

“The President is tirelessly working to address the challenges our nation faces, from improving infrastructure to enhancing our healthcare system,” dagdag pa nito.“Nakita naman natin na pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng kalamidad, ang Presidente mismo ang nagmamando sa ground zero. He leads from the front”.

Sinabi ni Adiong na sa panig ng Kamara de Representantes, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ay patuloy na gagawa ng mga panukalang batas para sa kapakanan ng mga Pilipino.
